Celebrate Small Wins and Victories

I have a question for you? Why do you suppose we wait until we have accomplished all our GOALS before we celebrate them? What would life be like if we took the time to celebrate our small wins and victories, leading up to the great successes in our lives?

Most of us have many goals and plans we want to achieve at some point in our lives, right? Your goal may be losing weight, finishing school or college, writing a book, giving an important speech, teaching your first class, running a marathon, taking up martial arts, riding a horse for the first time, mastering Yoga, sky diving, or even starting your own Blog, etc.

For example, if you are trying to achieve your ideal weight for maximum health and wellness, don't wait until you have lost all the weight to celebrate. Be thankful for the small victories: the 5lbs, 10lbs and 15lbs lost, until you reach your desired weight. Or, if you are writing your first book, celebrate each chapter completed. These are just a few examples to consider. But, whatever your goals, set reasonable milestones for yourself, take the time to enjoy the experience and congratulate yourself along the way.

I know you may be thinking, but what if I get off track? Well, if by chance you have a tough time staying on track with your goals, don't waste precious time beating yourself up with negative thoughts or words. Assess the situation, make any changes needed and GET BACK IN THE GAME!

As you finish reading this post, think about the goals you are working towards right now and hopeful of accomplishing. At the end of the day, your successful wins and victories begins with an appreciation of where you are at this very moment and letting the future take care of itself. Remember, all things really are possible for you, if you believe, stay committed and never quit!

So, take the time to show your gratitude for the small accomplishments you are making along the way. Remain faithful and you will experience long-term and consistent success in your life.
