Be A Better You - Part 2


In part 1 of this series, I shared that being a better you is about discovering who you really are at the core and learning to focus on the whole person.


In this post, you will discover that taking time for yourself can help you become better in nearly every area of your life. It can help you become an even better parent, friend, spouse, child, sibling, employee, leader, and just an overall better person.


Did you know that it's not wrong to take personal, quality, or private time to work on you? Well it's not. Working on you is vital because it empowers you to take personal responsibility for your life and how you choose to live it. It requires you to be completely transparent and honest with yourself. When you do this, it can result in your being healed internally from any hurt, pain, or disappointments in life. Ultimately, you can be a more stable person, who is restored, refreshed, rejuvenated and centered.


If you haven't been taking time for yourself and would like to--DO IT NOW! Start by doing those things that you enjoy; like exercising, taking up a hobby, going on a trip, reading an inspiring book, taking walks on the beach, watching your favorite show, taking a nap, or doing whatever makes you relaxed and happy.


So, take some time to breathe deeply and meditate on what's meaningful in your life. When you get better, things around you will begin to change for the better.
